Our Cookie Molds

Every effort is made to show our cookie molds accurately in photographs.

Many of the molds we sell are antique reproductions. An original antique mold often has visible signs of aging—the wear and tear of centuries. These attributes are accurately reproduced without alteration as long as the mold’s durability is not compromised. Examples of age marks include but are not limited to cracks, warps and worn edges.  A reproduction of an antique mold with age marks is not a defective mold.

We realize that some customers value the antique nature of some of our molds while others want designs with no age marks. With over 900 springerle molds in our line, we offer both kinds of molds, and will help you find what you want.

If you are uncertain about the level of imperfections in a mold, please call us at 412-616-9066 before ordering. If the mold is in stock, we will pull it from inventory and describe it over the phone and perhaps even take a quick impression with a non-toxic modeling compound to tell you first-hand how the image looks.

We want you to be happy when you open the box. Please let us help you.

Payment

Payment for in-stock orders must be received and cleared before merchandise will be shipped. E-Checks take 3-5 business days to be cleared. Regular checks received via US Mail take 2-3 business days. Credit card transactions on the web are immediately approved unless there is a problem with the account. If a credit card transaction is denied, the purchaser will be notified by the clearing house via email. It is the responsibility of the credit card holder to resolve the issue with the clearing house. Springerle Joy is automatically notified when the credit card issue is resolved.

All special orders must be prepaid and cleared before orders are placed with the supplier. Special orders are not cancellable and not returnable.

Payment for classes must be made at the time of registration and are not refundable. If there is a waiting list for the class, we will try to find a substitute for you.

Returns

Unused cookie molds that are not classified as a special order may be returned within 30 days of shipment f.o.b. Pittsburgh. Due to the food use nature of our products, any used items are not returnable. Return shipping is only paid by Springerle Joy, LLC in the event that the merchandise is defective.

Special orders are not returnable except in the case of defect.

Fitness for Use

Our cookie molds, made of a food-safe resin are guaranteed to be first-quality for cookie making.

We encourage use of the molds for crafts as well, but cannot guarantee outcomes in the crafting arena given the diversity of materials and techniques you may employ.

If you plan to use the molds for both cookies ­ and crafts, please:

• Only use crafting materials that are labeled “non-toxic” by the material vendors.
• Thoroughly clean the molds with hot soapy water and a soft brush until all the non-toxic crafting material is removed before reusing the molds for cookies.

If the crafting material you use in the molds does not have a “non-toxic” labeling, please enjoy the molds for crafting, but do not use them afterward for cookies—ever.

Privacy

We guard your privacy. We never see your credit card information if your order is placed online. When you place an order by telephone or mail, we shred any credit card information as soon as the order is processed electronically for payment. All credit card transactions are processed by PayPal. You should consult PayPal for their latest privacy policy if you have questions.

We do maintain customer records: name, address, phone number, email, products purchased and purchase dates. We maintain notes pertinent to customer orders to assist us in providing top-notch customer service. We also maintain a separate list of people who have signed up for our newsletter. This information is stored off-line and is not rented or sold to third parties.

We do use email addresses to inform customers and newsletter subscribers of Springerle Joy news. We share these email addresses with a vendor that distributes this newsletter and agrees not to use this information for any other purpose. We always provide an opt-out feature in our correspondence.

We collect anonymous web analytical data in aggregate form. It is shared with third parties that help us optimize our advertising effectiveness and our ability to be found by customers and search engines.
