Description Technical Specs
Annunciation springerle mold, Baroque circa 1650. This depiction is highly detailed and dimensional. Viewing the enlarged photo you can see the the facial feature of Mary and the angel, the dove's eye and open beak, the petals of the lilies in the hand of the angel and in the vase on the ground, and the gentle folds of the clothing and shawl covering the Prie-dieu.

This would make a beautiful gift cookie, or fondant cake topper to celebrate the feast of the Annunciation, March 25th.

Haven't actually used the cookie mold yet, that will be next weekend, but I did a little show and tell at church and those that I showed it to were impressed with the beauty of the design. Really looking forward to making the cookies and then sharing them.
Last time I shared cookies the one lady said she was torn between saving it and eating it, finally decided to take a photo and then eat it.
