Description

This mold is carved in the Biedermeier style of 1830-1850. It depicts a medieval church with stork nest in center of roof. A cross is on the left spire, and a weather vane on right tower. Notice the tall, narrow arched cathedral windows and the tiled roof detail. The scalloped border echos the tiled roof.

This springerle mold is also part of multiple mold 8849.

This cookie mold is made of a food-safe resin that is unbreakable and waterproof. It comes with metal eyelet hanger attached at top for display on a wall. In addition to making cookies, you can make ornaments using this mold (we recommend non-toxic modeling materials such as Paperclay or Delight).

Recommended custom cutter: 17082

I really like the imprint this makes. The many fine vertical lines create an elegant cookie. The details in the roof shingles and window leading come through in the impression. I like the size of the little rectangle biscuit it produces. (I use a rectangle cutter that is a reasonably good fit.) It's not a very deep mold, so if a softer or more fat-containing dough is used, I believe the interesting tiny details will be lost.
