Description Technical Specs
Teacup / Coffee Cup and Saucer springerle cookie mold. This cute springerle cookie mold has detailed carving that shows beautifully in a Christmas cookie. Everything appears clearly, even steam coming out of the cup! It pairs beautifully with our Teapot springerle mold 1216. You can use this Cup and Saucer springerle mold for Christmas crafting; try medallions on Christmas greeting cards (We recommend Delightâ„¢ 15003). It also makes a cute mini-cupcake topper using fondant. See alternate photos.
This fine mold was carved by the Neff brothers of the Appenzell region, Switzerland.
Springerle Cookie Cutter Tips: Use a 1.5" plain round cutter found as a single (11152 or 16122) or as part of nested set 12111. A subtle fluted round from either set 12007 or 12112 looks well also. Avoid the 1.5" Ateco fluted round--the large scallop of this cutter would overwhelm the mold design.
Springerle Dough Thickness Tip: 5-8 mm using our Dough Thickness Guides 10009. Using our recipe, bake the cookies at 290 degrees F for 10-12 minutes, on lowest rack in oven, until bottoms start to just show a hint of a golden color.
