These five flowers are deeply carved and make great eating-size cookies. If you want a collection of flower cookie molds, this would be a good investment--roughly $10/mold. Each flower is very distinctive. Here are some ideas of what these flowers may be, thanks to one of our customers: Anemone, double Chrysanthemum or Zinnia, Crown Imperial Fritillary or Crowned Clover, Pomegranate, and Nigella (Love-In-A Mist).
They would work well for spring, Easter, any kind of women's gathering, showers, or weddings. A box of these cookies would make a lovely housewarming or birthday gift.
These 5 flowers are a subset of mold 8906.
We've also made crafts with these molds using Delightâ„¢ (15003) and acrylics as shown in the alternate photos. The highly dimensional nature of these molds makes them easy to paint--you can't miss the ridges!
Springerle Cookie Cutter Tips: Bench scraper 10000 or zig-zag cutter 10003. Hold the zig-zag cutter handle vertically and use the cutter as a guillotine. This prevents the cutter from pushing the dough forward and distorting the cut. Springerle Dough Thickness Tip: 8mm using our Dough Thickness Guides.
