Description Technical Specs

Struwwelpeter is a character in a book written by Heinrich Hoffman and published in 1844. The purpose of the beautifully illustrated book was to teach children manners by showing the consequences of bad behavior.

Here is what Mr. Hoffman had to say about Struwwelpeter (Shock Headed Peter):

"Just look at him! there he stands,
With his nasty hair and hands.
See! his nails are never cut;
They are grimed as black as soot;
And the sloven, I declare,
Never once has combed his hair;
Anything to me is sweeter
Than to see Shock-Headed Peter."

Struwwelpeter is one scary looking character. And that's why we recommend him as a Halloween cookie mold.

This cookie mold reproduction is made of a food-safe resin that is unbreakable and waterproof. It comes with metal eyelet hanger attached at the top for display on a wall. In addition to making cookies, you can make ornaments using this mold (we recommend non-toxic modeling materials such as Paperclay or Delight).

I grew up with the Stubelpeter stories and this mold will be a big hit with my Mom and the family when I make Springerle with it!  Thanks.
